Good acoustics in nurseries and schools as well as private or commercial rooms, such as open-plan offices, are more important today than ever, especially as the frequent absence of large-area textiles, such as carpets, can make rooms unpleasantly loud. Disturbing room noise thus becomes a problem, especially for concentration, and needs to be remedied, which can be achieved using panels as partitions between desks or on ceilings and walls as absorbent sound insulation. Partial installation on the wall or ceiling is usually sufficient to achieve significant effects in terms of a pleasant room atmosphere.
